Exodus
The blackness washed over Exodus as he brought himself up to the surface to breath. He took a deep breath and sighed deeply. He didn't release the air. Instead, he kept in his lungs so that he could float, which he did. His body soon bounced to the surface and there lay the rather large stallion. Exodus kept his nose to the air in a sad attempt to breath. He knew his finally moments were coming and he wanted to see the sunset. It was the only thing he hadn't seen in the last few months and he wanted for just one moment to feel the light on his ebony skin. The cold water was making his body shut down. He just hoped that he would last till the sun set. It was a rather sad sight, watching the stallion die. However, he didn't have a choice. He only had a choice on how soon it came and so he was killing himself. It was for the best he told himself...He would save himself a life full of pain and sorrow, something he didn't want. He blinked his empty black eyes and the orange sun was was beginning to sink down. It was growing lighter and lighter by the moment now and he sighed once more. His time was coming and he couldn't wait...The pain that he had been living through was far to great for him to live. Exodus loved these waters, their coldness that engulfed him.
Suddenly, the sky is dark and Exodus can feel the cold a lot more now. A smirk comes to his face and then with one last big breath, he disappeared under water. A few bubbles came up to the surface. He held his breath for as long as he could. His body screamed at him to return to the surface, but he wouldn't. His eyesight began to get blurry and suddenly he sank. There wasn't any movement from his body as it sucked it water. The water that would drown him. It was ironic. A kelpie. Drowning. However, Exodus wanted to die in the place he belonged. The place that many of his meals lay. Like a rock, he sank to the bottom of the ocean. Body smashing against jagged rocks and then he fell to a soft spot of black dirt. A dusty like cloud erupted around him and then settled on his large body. That was it. Not a moment, not a found from the dying corpse. He would be dead within seconds now and that would be the end of Exodus. The end of his life and all that he had ever had which wasn't much. Maybe tat was why he didn't care if he died. He didn't have to live with anyone and that made this effortless.
