The ebony stallion galloped in his fast paced movement into the opening of the forest. He wanted this land to be his, no he wanted this land as his, and it would be his! All of theses lands! This unicorn land would be his! He would be emperor or king! No one would be able to stop his climbing of the power ladder. Why shouldn't it?! He had grown up in this place, and he knew the land more than any other horse might possible be able to, it was most likely going to be his at some point in time, so really why not now? He needed it now more than he ever had, he had Aquillion who now had his little baby growing inside of her, and he was working on more mares. So he had a herd going all he needed was a land for them to live on. And this area was the only place that he wished to live. He did not believe that he could live anywhere else, because it was all he knew from the point of where he started his life over, and Estacar was not real good with change.
He needed to be the emperor of these lands, he wanted horses to tremble before him, much the way he used to tremble before his father. And being emporer of a land was a stepping stone to what he wanted. He just wanted to be that high in power, he could rule over all of the equines and he could terrify all the other pathetic breeds and show them just how magnificent the Unicorn breed was, he would fit the job description perfectly! He was the mascot for all unicorns around, dark and cold and distant, and he was powerful enough to make his thoughts heard. He could fight along with the best of the Unicorns possibly even better than most, and he was a vengeful cruel equine, see the perfect match to be emperor.
The stallion then knew that he would have to get onto the whole claiming things. He honestly did not think that he should have to go through all of these fancy spancey things. This land was already practically his, his scent was all around the area of ever land in the Unocorn kingdome, so that if there was another stallion there they would no doubt know that he was here. But he knew that he had to do this because the Gods or Goddesses would look down upon his own age of the lands as petty and they could easily take it away from him if he did not claim it. And there was no way that the stallion would allow the Gods or Goddesses to take away his lands, and so he would be corrupted by the urge to kill whatever of the higher powers that took his home away from him, and that was never a good thing to be feeling to have now was it? So he would be doing this claiming of emperor thing.
Estacar raised his muscular body up onto his hind legs and allowed his daggers to pierce the open air. He let out a maniacally loud whinny, one that told him that if any stallion was here and thought that this land was his that he should come to Estacar, so that he could kill him and show the stallion just how wrong his pathetic mind was. The sound was loud enough to travel all around the area, loud enough to be heard through the forest that surrounded the area, and it was blood curdling cold. He knew that if there was a stallion he would have to be completely stupid to come to him after he heard Estacar's call, if he was smart then he would run as fast as he could to some lesser land, but Estacar did not believe that there was another horse here. If there was he was better than Estacar at hiding in the shadows unseen and he had never left his scent any where, and both of those things were never seen or heard of, and so Estacar was not worried for himself. The stallion landed on the ground with a loud thump and looked around the area that he believed was now HIS!

The spotted mare stood at the edge of a small clearing in the trees, grazing the soft hunter-green grasses. She flicked her tail whan a small bug landed on her, making her muscles twitch. Her ears flicked back in annoyance, and she raised her head. Then, she just felt altogether annoyed. She did a full body shake, sending dust out. She folded her white wings back in, then took a few steps into the forest. She didn't go back to graze, instead taking a small walk throughout the forest. She didn't know what exactly she was loking for, but the didn't feel like grazing. Smashing leaves and sticks as she blazed a new trail, she came to a new clearing, just close to a small little stream. Her ears perked at a triumphant, yet demanding whinny sounding through the trees. A stallion was claiming the land! Jumajia Ha'Tari felt a cold shiver through her, though the whinny was not ment for her. It was clearly ment for other stallions in the land. But, she was curious: she at least had to see who was claiming it. She picked her way through the trees, getting closer and closer to what was the point to the sound. She let out a softer whinny, as if to say "Hello?" She cleared the trees, and looked at the magnificent stallion. A lean, proud creature, with the coat the same color as midnight. She looked in awe at the large horn topping his head, the same ebony color, reaching and spirilng up as if to touch the sky itself. He was just a bit older than her, by his looks. She then realised she was staring, and looked away as if in shame. She ruffled her wings again, then touched her horn to the ground and gave a small bow.

The stallion stood quietly, waiting to see if any horse was going to come and make him have to attack them if they thought that they might be a better leader than him, he stood there for moments just waiting. He knew that he had not see any other stallion living here on these lands in all the years that he had treaded this soft ground. And so he did not think that there was any other horse calling this land his. If there was a stallion living in this land that Estacar called home then they had never left their sent on any of the foliage that had grown here or in the air, because Estacar had sniffed this place out to make sure there was no horse living here without his knowledge, and he had never smelled any other equine. That or the stallion had the better ability of hiding out into the shadows without being seen, which Estacar was very skilled at, and neither of these things had been heard of. At least to the stallion's knowledge.
Then as the stallion swiveled his ears and surveyed the land a soft whinny slinked its way into the stallions ebony ears. A snarl instantly appeared on the stallions maw, as he looked for the dastardly equine that was coming to try to take his home away, until he realized that the sound had come from a mare. A smirk replaced the snarl on the stallion's maw and he allowed his muscles to intense themselves. He watched the land that he hopefully was soon to call home to see what mare was coming his way, he did not recognize the whinny as one of the stallion's that he now called his and he was quite excited at the thought of possible having the ability to call another mare his and include them in his harem. But he did not expect to see what he did.
The mare that he saw coming his way had a horn on the top of her head, something that Estacar was quite familiar with and something that he respected, but she also had something that he did not possess. The mare had a pair of wings attached to her back. The stallion blinked for a second, thinking that maybe because of Aquillion he was just imagining the bird like feature at her sides, but when he looked back upon her body he knew that she had them. Estacar had never met an equine with both a horn and wings, though he had heard stories about them from his parents, they were hybrids something that came from a unicorn and a Pegasus breeding. The ebony stallion silently wondered if Aquillion and his foal would look something like her.
The stallion smiled slowly as he noticed the black and white painted mare starring at him, he was not the vainest of the unicorn species, but he knew that he was a good looking stallion and so he did not judge the mare for looking at him. Estacar also took the time to look the mare over himself. She was a black and white painted horse, something that he had also never seen before, he had normally just seen solid colored horses though he thought that this mare was rather pretty in her coloring. The horn that grew from her head was a spiraled color of black and white, it did not seem to curve in any certain way, and so Estacar knew that she did not have any Mismunur blood in her but he did not mind this much. Her wings were mostly white except for where they met her feminine body which was black. The mare's mane and tail was also black and white. Yes Estacar decided that she was very pretty, meaning that he liked her.
Then the mare broke out of her starring awe and made a bow to him, placing her horn on the soft ground of his home, and the stallion allowed a smile to twist onto his lips. When the mare looked back at him the stallion decided that he might as well return the respect and so he folded himself into a bow, his muscles bunching and flexing in raw power, and his ebony coat shinning under the morning sun. Then he looked back at the mare. Estacar took a few graceful steps to wards the mare, his daggers barely making a sound as they dug into the snowy ground, and he stopped a few feet away from her pretty body. He smiled politely and allowed a low nicker to escape his ebony maw. "Hello there Fae, my name is Estacar, may I have the pleasure of hearing the calling of one so pretty as yourself?" The stallion said in a voice as smooth as velvet and with a extra tone of gentlemanliness, because he wanted to keep this mare around.

The ebony beauty looked back, glancing up and down her. He seemed caught off guard by her wings, so she folded them back, as if to try and hide them. But the large appendages could never hide. She felt rather timid, all of a sudden. When he returned the bow to her, though, his powerful muscles glinting and showing as he settled even lower to he ground than she had, she relaxed a little. He seemed rather outgoing, by the fact he walked up to her, while she hid in the forest. His voice alone could have seduced you, it was as smooth as velvet, yet very pronounced. Tari knew she most definately had a stupid look of awe on her face. "They call me Jumajia Ha'Tari. Quite a mouthful, huh?" she nickered softly, as if to laugh. "But please, Tari." she corrected herself. She bobbed her head, her horn catching a small bit of sunlight. "And so I see you claim these lands." she said, trying to avoid the quesion about her descent. She was often asked about her strange wings, and the question alone didn't bother her, it was the fact that they treated her like a penguin in the desert that did. All of the others were only horned, here. She had just made her home, here, though, and was not willing to leave for the Hybrid lands. Plus, her spots. Oh, those were a nightmare! Others here did have spots, but only a few. She was really mixed. She loved the beauty in her uniqueness, but she also wished she was treated the same. But, the stallion did seem fair enough, he hadn't looked too critically, anyway. Then she realised: he treated her much like he probably would anyone else! The thought made her smile, and she did get a small boost of confidence, no matter how small and trivial it seemed.

The painted mare had caught his starring at her wings and she seemed somewhat frazzled by this. Which Estacar guessed came from her being here in the unicorn lands, she most likely got strange looks from most unicorns for those pretty appendages at her side, and she surely got questioned about them a lot. He could guess that if she had wandered upon a less gentlemanly stallion that they could possible have attacked her just because she had them, there was that war going on in these lands, the purebreds hated one another a whole lot enough to fight but not kill, but hybrids? It seemed like every breed hated them with a burning passion, and they would normally kill one on the spot, because they came from cross breeds of two pure breeds. But Estacar was not one of these stallions, because he had Aquillion, and she was carrying his own baby which was going to be a hybrid.
She was so frazzled by the stare of Estacar on her wings that she curled them to her side, as if she was trying to hide them from his sight, but of course it did not work. They were still there, just to the side of her barrel, when they were not stretching out beside her. But Estacar was not starring at them to scrutinize her, he was just looking because they had interested him, and he wanted to tell her this. Because he wanted to be on her good side and if she believed that he was scrutinizing her she would not like him very much, and he wanted her to like him because he wished to get to know this pretty hybrid mare more, and he could not be able to do that while on her bad side, so he would have to show her.
The dark ebony stallion thought of a subtle way of telling the mare that he was not trying to scrutinize her wings, he did not want to just say it out right because that would just make him look like a dorky little stallion, and he definitely didn't want her to think that of him because he was most definitely not that. He also did not just want to not say anything to her, because he did not want her to think that he was a complete jerk, which he was not usually that. So he just sent out a a soft nicker, one that stated he did not mind the wings, and he hoped that she would understand what the nicker meant and she would not just think that he was being a weird stallion sending out random whinnies.
Then the mare listened to his statement about his name and asking her hers. Her name was a very long and intricate one, it was unique though, he did not guess that there was another mare that had that name. But then she shortened it to 'Tari. And the stallion nodded his head softly to her. "That is a very unique name you have there. And I thank you for the ability to shorten it to Tari, it takes an ease off of my mouth, though one I would be willing to take for a mare such as yourself. The stallion stated with his smooth as velvet voice that held sweetness in it, he was not used to be sweet to another horse, but he believed that the mare deserved that. And Estacar then smiled at her, showing his pearly white teeth, though he did not open his maw big enough to allow her to see their sharpened fang shape.
Then the mare spoke to him yet again and asked the stallion if he was claiming these lands. "Why yes dear fae, I felt compelled to claim this land as mine because I have lived on these lands for most of my life, and I decided that if I wanted to keep it as my own for a while then I might as well claim it. Don't you think that was a good idea?" The stallion said with a light chuckle escaping his ebony throat and a smile twisted onto his satin like lips.

Tari shifted her weight and smiled a little. "I don't have anything against it. I can't say I'm a native, with a bruning passion to keep these lands." she said, softly, with a small laugh. She was entranced by his..well, vibes, for lack of a better word. He didn't seem, to her, too interested in answering questions about himself. His stare dropped from her wings to her, indicating to her he acatually cared about her. "Your turn" she spoke, softly, willing to answer a question. "You can ask me anything." she said, ruffling her wings to show him that he could even ask about them. She gave him a genuine smile, and turned her head slightly off in the distance. It seemed ironic, after being beat down so many times from other herds, other stallions who she knew a lot better, and wouldn't talk to them, but she was willing to let an almost-stanger ask her anything. How could she know he wouldn't hurt her, too? But, she placed her little trust in him. She admitted to herself that that was her biggest flaw: she cared so much that she got attached, and she was so loyal that when she was hurt, it really put a dent in her. Yet, she kept the same pesonality, just like a dog chasing his own tail. The dog did the same thing over and over again and expected a different result. Yes, she had indeed been rejected, beat down, laughed at, and humiliated. That was the only reason she hadn't found a herd. Here, she was an outcast. The perils of Mother Nautre had toughened her, mostly because she was left to deal with it alone. Thinking about outcasts brought a tear to her eye. Her life could have been a lot different, had she just not seperated from her herd in the Hybrid lands. But, what was done, was done. The sun peeked out through the light clouds, shining light on the stallion's back. It glinted slightly off his back, with a subtle sparkle. And yet, she wanted to be a part of it. Shaking the last thoughts of doubt in her mind, she finally got the nerves to acatually step out of the trees, showing herself fully.

The ebony stallion watched the painted mare quietly, not wanting to push her with speech, letting her take her own time to warm up to the stallion. He listened with his ears perked up as the mare's voice reached his dial. She said that she did not mind him claiming this land, because it was not like she was a native to this land, and she did not particularly want to keep the lands that they were on now. The stallion smiled at her knowing that she was trying to be sweet to him, because she had ended the statement with a laugh, something that he was not used to most horses that he spent his time with. Most mares that he was around were very dark and depressed creatures, which suited him just fine because he was also dark and depressed, but it meant that he was not used to happy and smiling horses such as the one that was standing in the trees not very far from him.
Estacar smiled back at the mare, using his sweet tempered smile, one that he did not normally let other equines having the pleasure of seeing. It made him look like he was a kind and nice horse, which most of the time he would not allow other horses to think, but he thought that this particular mare deserved to see the lighter side of him. He just hoped that if she met any of the other mare's in his herd that she would not speak of it to them, because it could ruin his reputation with them, or most likely they would just think that the mare was crazy and she would laugh in her faces which he did not think that this mare deserved. But he did not know if this mare would ever even see the other mare's of his herd, or if she would see any of the other land of his home because she could decide to just turn around and leave the land right now.
"Well, you are allowed to reside her, for a few days before moving on or for how ever long you wish." Estacar stated in his smooth as velvet voice. He emphasized the last part of the statement, because he did not want her to move on, he hoped that she would choose to stay here and call this place home. Because he was growing to like the company of this mare. He thought that it would be a good change in his life to have a happy horse around him. He might be able to go away from his herd with her and actually be able to spend some alone time, where he would be allowed to be happy, allowed to smile and listen to the happy sound of her laughter. It was the first time that he had ever asked a mare to stay in the land so fast, and who knew maybe she could actually turn him into a happy horse, well no that was never possible but he could be a tad bit nicer.
Then the mare began to speak, her girly voice once again graced his ebony ears, and he listened intently to what she had said. The mare then said that it was his turn, that he could ask her any question, and Estacar turned his head to the side slightly not used to that kind of an invitation. He stood there watching her for a few minutes, not entirely sure if she was being serious, and if he should actually speak to her. But as he watched the mare he saw the mare ruffle her wings, as a sign that he could even asked her about those appendages, and Estacar knew that she was being serious that he could really ask her a question. But he did not know what to ask her, his mind was drawing a blank, he wanted to ask a question that would make him seem like a deep and smart equine, but he could not think of anything. "Alright then. What makes a mare like you come through the Unicorn lands, it could be quite dangerous, and it would have been terrible for me not to meet you." The stallion said in a smooth and questioning voice. And as he saw the mare step out into the sun Estacar took a few more steps to her, so they were standing face to face only feet apart, his crimson red eyes starring into her normally colored orbs.

"I do believe I am the lucky one." she smiled, back at the stallion. "I call myself a nomad, while I stay in the Unicorn lands." Then, the ebony jewel asked her about how she ended up here. "Oh, that". Her face fell. She took a deep breath and started. "I was born to a Tekklastar mother and a Tungl father, in the Risti lands. 'Twas a small herd. I was born and raised there, just like any other horse. I had a friend, Kamima, who was also a Tungl hybrid. One day, when I was about two, we decided to go play outside of the herd, and we lost track of time. The herd went off, and we were seperated. We serched and searched together, but could not find them." She paused for a moment, and then continued: "We decided to split, she going one way, I going the other. I don't know much else from there. I do hope she found the herd. I've since been wandering all the lands, seeing what I could. But I cannot set foot on the Kelpie lands, and the Pegasi are rather flighty and too fast for me. The unicorns aren't the most friendly lands, but the most homely." she said. "I just....I don't know. I don't want to go home, and the Noedrach terras..oh I don't know." she said. She closed her eyes, and then looked upon him. "So, this is my tragic, woeful tale" she said, in a dramatic, yet playful voice, much like a bad actor in a theatre. She looked yet again at the refined head, strong muscles, and sleek coat. Oh, how the coat shone and glimmered! It was just like stars in the night sky, his ebony velvet pelt like the perfect backdrop. Even in broad daylight, it could be so black.

The stallion watched the pretty little painted mare and listened to her carefully as words fell from her maw in a somewhat melodic tone. She said that she believed that she was the lucky, this statement made a light smile twist onto his coal black maw, and a light chuckle trickle from his elegant neck. Then she added that she was a nomad and just spent most of her time in the unicorn lands. The stallion nodded his well chiseled dial lightly understanding what the mare was talking about. He had wandered for a very long time before he had found this amazing land and decided that it shall be his own home. He had traveled around a lot of lands, he surely had been in some Kelpie lands and possible some Pegasus lands, though he had not bothered to check because he knew that he could take care of himself and he was quite scary at that time and so he did not think that any equine would be willing to just walk up to him and say something.
Back at that time he was a very dark soul, much more than he was now, because it had been only a few months away when he had finally gotten away from his father by the way of his death by Estacar's ebony daggers. And it was only a year since he had seen his young mother die by his own father, just because she had made him angry, right in front of the tiny baby that Estacar used to be. That image of his mother's death had burned its way into the stallion's memory, just on the back of his eyelids so that every time that he closed his eyes he would see it, making him the killing and evil and cruel stallion that Estacar was now. That image haunted him. But he had been so much worse when he was younger, he was not used to the idea of his mother being dead, not used to that image attacking his brain every minute of his life.
When he was younger that image was still haunting him behind every corner of his mind Estacar was much more unpredictable. He would lash out at anyone who angered him in any way, becoming more and more like his father, the one thing that he was hoping to never become in his life. One day he was going into a land to bath and he looked into the water and he did not recognize his blood splattered self, and so he decided that he would turn himself around, something that was much more difficult than he had thought. He had tried to become a nice equine, one who would actually try to help another species of his own, one that would actually care of the plite of other horses that he was not friends with. But it did not end up being like that, oh no it surely did not, he had gone too far into the evil ways of his life that he was not able to get himself out. He was stuck being cruel, but he toned it down a tad bit, and he was a little bit nicer than normal.
Then the voice of the painted mare brought Estacar out of his memories and thoughts. She spoke about her breed, then she told the stallion about her history when she was young wandering around with her friend and loosing her family, staying with her friend for some time but then they apparently decided to break apart and she was alone wandering ever since then. She said that she could not live around the Kelpies, she would not live with the Pegasus's, and she she decided to live around Unicorns though she said that they were not very nice. Which brought a chuckle from Estacar. "That does seem like a hard time that you have went through, and I am sorry that it happened to a sweet mare like you, and I know what you mean by a nomad because I was that for some time in my life. But I will let you know, you are welcome on my land, you may reside here you may even call it home." The stallion said nodding his head with a happy smile, hoping that she would get his hint, and hoping that she would not dislike the idea.

She listened to him, saying he was a nomad. It seemed peculiar that they had this much in common, in her travels, she had never met another. And where could he go? Tari herself was only welcomed in four of the five lands, he being purebred, he could not have been staying long in all but two. She did come to the conclusion that his travels may not have lasted long, but he counteracter her conclusion by saying that he was a traveler for a while. Tari's smile brightened. From what she had seen, invitations were more...brutal, for lack of a better word. But the question nagged at her, why didn't he claim her? A lone mare, no place to call home. Young, healthy, never claimed before. Oh sure, she had picked up on his hint. He wanted her to stay. But, he had never said the question directly, leading her to believe that he may be a little...tricky, again, for lack of a better word. Here she was, making conclusions about the still-stranger to her. She had spilled her life's story to him. How pathetic. And yet, she didn't know if she could commit. Did she want to stay in the Unicorn lands? Why sure, it was homey, but she'd be bound here. She didn't know if she could..well...tie herself down. It seemed an impossible decision. But, she knew, she had to settle at some point. Maybe...it didn't hurt to ask. "Say I did call the Unicorn lands home. Would you let me roam? Just a little?" she asked with a smile. "I just..I've never been able to commit." she smiled. Though, she knew what she was asking was hard, whe just couldn't bear to lose her freedom. Shw knew the reasons to say no, but it didn't seem impossible to say yes, either. A cold winter chill blew through the trees, making her shudder a little. It softly guided her wings to the side, but they resettled after it passed.

The stallion watched Tari with his crimson red orbs trained straight onto her face, so that he would be able to understand what the mare was thinking, because he was a little bit worried about what this mare was going to say to his invitation to living in his herd. He had never asked a mare such as this one to be in his herd, meaning that he had never asked a hybrid mare or any other breed of equine than her. He did not ask Aquillion, the Pegasus mare that was pregnant with his child living in his land, he had captured her branded her and forced her to stay in the area by pruning her wing so that she could not fly away. That was the more cruel and evil side of the stallion, a side that he did not think this sweet painted mare would ever have to see, and he had just done that because he did not like the idea of a Pegasus on his land. But now that Aquillion was pregnant with his child which was going to turn out to be a hybrid, he was a lot more open to the different breeds of the equine, though the pure breds were not really his cup of tea.
The mare heard his statement and a bright smile brightened her face, and he could tell that she had thought that the whole process might have gone a whole lot different, because Unicorns like him had a tendency to claim all unclaimed mares and take them against their will in a very rough way. But Estacar had just asked the mare, n0 not even asked her he just hinted to her that he wanted her to be in his heard, which he was sure was a whole lot better than what she might have thought that he would have done. The stallion tilted his head to the side slightly waiting for her answer, keeping his ears flicked straight forwards so that he could catch her words easier, and he kept his blood red eyes on her painted face to be able to see what her reaction to his words was. She paused for a very long time and starred off into space, it was like she was lost deep in thought, and he guessed that it was from his earlier question. And he understood that she would be thinking about this, her face showed that she was weighing her options trying to decide if it was a good idea for her to join this herd, he thought that it must be hard for a Hybrid to join the lands of a unicorn but he hoped that she would decide that it was worth the risk.
Then the mare had a look on her face like she had maybe made up her mind and Estacar looked at her questioningly. Then the mare began to speak, she asked that if she did call this land home if he would allow her to roam around, stating that she had never been good at committing to one thing. The stallion nodded his head knowingly because he had used to be like that, when he was a younger colt before he had found this land, he wondered that maybe if she got used to this land and began to like it maybe she would decide to call this place home more permanently. But before that time came he understood the want to be able to be free and so he would allow this with her. "That is a good request I have to admit, and yes Tari you will be allowed to roam some away from this land, I understand the feeling of not wanting to totally commit and wanting the feeling of freedom. I have wandered from the land a tad bit lately so it would be fine with me if you did so also." The stallion stated in his smooth as velvet voice turned down from his normal gruff and loud voice to a smoother and more whispered tone because he did not want this statement to over power the mare. And then he looked at the painted mare and smiled at her.

She listened intently at his answer. He said that she could roam, sometimes. He seemed to understand Tari's need to explore. Tari's smile brightened further "Then, I would be happy to call myself one of yours." she proclaimed. She chose this on her own free will. It almost felt...empowering. He didn't seem nearly as cruel, as careless as other stallions. And, he seemed to overlook, maybe treasure, her hybrid self, whereas others saw a disgusting crossbred. She was on an emotional high right now, so yes, she was a little excited. She pranced a little, though not with much grace, having the stocky body of a Paint. Not quite as graceful as the fairytale Lippizzanners, but she had the wings to add on her side. They danced with her, catching the small bounces and flounces. Her mane and tail flowed, some stray hairs catching the low light leaking through the grey clouds, which told of winter. That, and her emotional highs and lows. But, she was trying not to show it. She settled again, then curious. "And your herd?" she questioned. "Where are they? I havn't laid eyes on them." She now imagined it: a herd full of purebred unicorns. And then there she was, boasting prominent wings, as they scrutinized her. What would they do to her? Would they accept her? Oh, why hadn't she thought of this before? A little nervous twinge rose up in her. Would she just be hurt again? She laid her eyes upon Estacar, trying not to show her nervousness. He would protect her, right? Those crimson orbs looked at her protectively, she even thought she saw an expression of acceptance on his face. But, she could have been hallucinating. But, she placed all her trust in him, he hadn't failed her before. Again, Tari mentally noted, she was trusting easily again. But this time, she felt, that she had nothing to fear. She felt safe in him. Just...well...nervous!

Estacar watched the mare intently trying to decide what she was going to say before she said it, so that he would be ready to answer her with a good statement, one that would make her feel like her choice to stay was a good one or one to maybe make her change her mind about saying no to his offer of calling his land home. He had thought that because he had assured the mare that she could wander away from the land as much as she felt needed. So he gave her the freedom that she wished to have, and so he believed that she would most likely say yes to his offer because it was one that she was not likely to get again from another equine in any of the purebred lands, but she could always not wish to live here in the purebred Unicorn lands or just not want to call any where home so she could possible say no. But he hoped dearly that she would say yes, because this mare was greatly intriguing him, and he wished to get to know her well. Also she was happy, which he thought that might be a good change to his normal dreary life style, something that he really did need as some times in his life.
Then as the stallion studied the painted mare's face with his crimson red orbs he noticed the bright smile growing on her pretty face and he knew that she had decided to call this place home he could see it in her eyes. And so, before the mare even began to speak about wanting to stay here for sometime Estacar started to smile his own bright smile, keeping his mouth close enough so that his venomous fangs were not visible though. He did not wish her to see these because he knew that they were scary looking in the way that they looked like a carnivorous animal's teeth, but he rarely ever used them on equines unless they threatened him or his herd. Estacar just did not want her to see them because he did not want her to be scared off by them, it had happened to him before, and so he did not want to risk loosing her when he had only just met her. It would be a terrible thing to see her scared of his teeth and watch her turn tail and run, it would hurt, and Estacar did not enjoy the feeling of being hurt.
Then the mare began to speak to Estacar and the smile on his ebony maw widened, because she had said that since he was willing to let her roam she would be glad to call herself one of his, and this made Estacar happy. It was a strange thing to him that he was really wanting this hybrid mare to come with him and live in his land, he was a pure bred Unicorn wasn't he supposed to hate the other breeds of equines and especially dislike the hybrids? Well Estacar had never really been the same as the other Unicorns in his breed, in the way that he did not really judge most horses before he had a reason to judge them, and so no he was not going to judge this pretty mare because she had not given him any reason in the world to, also the fact that he was going to be a father to a little baby hybrid made him think better of them. "Well, I am glad, dear Tari." The stallion stated in a happy voice that he barely used.
Then the mare began to prance around happily, and it was great to Estacar that she was this happy because of the fact that she was now a member of his herd, and so he allowed a light chuckle to bubble from his throat through his ebony maw. Estacar then started to prance in place his muscles stretching and bulging elegantly, his mane and tail bouncing along with his movement of his body, and he gave a happy nicker to wards the painted mare. But then he watched the mare look a little bit nervous, and when she asked where the other members of his herd was, the mare seemed very nervous and Estacar guessed that it came from the fear of meeting the herd members. "They are farther into the lands, and you do not have to worry about them acting out to you I do not believe that they will, and if they do believe me that I will protect you." Estacar stated seriously.

You know, teaching can be a dangerous profession. "Yes, I imagine espionage is a much safer choice."

Tari's face fell in a sort of confusion. From what she had seen, the stallions always kept the herd close, in protective, but also a defensive measure. Some mares, like her, would be all to eager to run. So, how did he keep them here? How did he assure the wouldn't be taken by another stallion? But, she pushed the quesion to the back of her head. She would find out soon enough. She instead brought up the previous fear: she would be the odd one out in a herd of purebred Unicorns. That might set her up for some embarressment. She was assured that the stallion would protect her, he had said so himself. It seemed ironic. The regal equine standing in front of her might scare others, with his jet black pelt, sharpened, twirling tall horn, and crimson eyes. But, his personality spoke differently to Tari. He seemed sweet and accepting to her. He had listened to the rather unimportant things about her. He hadn't hated her immediately, he had gotton to know her. Heck, he said yes to a seemingly-impossible deal. It did kind of seem two-sided to Tari. His being seems kind of two-sided, so far. Maybe it was just her, she thought. She would just have to see how he interacts with the rest of the herd. She was very curious about him, he hadn't hiven much away about himself. The myserious type, eh? She was certain she'd find out in time. She nodded. "I'd like to go meet your herd." she said, though the nervousness rose up again. Maybe she was worrying about nothing, though. Just relax. They're family now. she thought to herself. She fluttered her wings and gave her whole body a shake, the dust and dirt she had accumelated flying off her. Her wings were the last to settle. She folded them back, so she looked a bit neater. She smiled, looking the gorgeous stallion in the eyes.
