K a t a k i F i g h t f o r m e , i f i t s n o t t o l a t e , h e l p m e b r e a t h e a g a i n .
The sun shone on the white stuff that blanketed the world. Coating it in a white innosence. But that was only an illusion. Or so some thought. But could we ever really be sure? The death of all, the rebirth in the spring. It was always so perfect. The eary cold perfect silence. It was said to be like heaven. Here where the lands once was gentle rolling hills with lush green blades of grass and flowers bloomed.
That was where she was. She had neither the horn of her sire nor the wings of her dam. But she was unique. Her golden creamy coat with a darker golden mane and tail was marked so beautifully one would think she was a goddess of beauty instead of a meer useless creature. But was Kataki useless? Not in the slightest. She was strong, willing, and loving. But she was also the kind to never take abuse.
Her sable champange coat with dark brindle along her back and tummy, four white stockings, a odd white heart shaped mark on her left shoulder and the white face she had,mde her pink nose and blue eyes look all the more perfect. And the way she moved, her legs lifted high, her tail sweeping low to the gound, her silken banner dancing along her nape gently as she loped with ease through the snow she gave a joyous call to the sky.
O h D a d d y I m i s s y o u.
She watched the sky with mirriored blue eyes as she smiled softly watching the world above her. Some would think she was longing to fly. But she wasnt. Nor did she long to have a horn sprout from her forhead. She instead was happy with just the way things where as they where. She didn't want to change a thing. Except maybe she would have loved the chance to meet her mother. But the mare had passed away foaling her.
Kataki stood proudly, boa arched head high. Tassels falling along her neck perfectly. Tail held high she looked every bit a queen at only three years old. But a twig from behind snapping caused the young mare to spin around in a graceful liquid movement as her blue eyes shifted searching for what had made the sound.
